Cox Partners Christmas at the Park. Saturday 12th December, Anderson Park. 3pm – 9.30pm, FREE Admission, All Ages
Bring a rug and picnic along to Anderson Park to celebrate Christmas at Anderson Park. This free Christmas concert will feature Dave Dobbyn as well as local band Naked Gun and school choirs. There is plenty of fun to be had for the family, including face painting for the kids and a variety of food vendors will be on site.
Fiesta of Lights. 12th December – 2nd January, Hawkes Bay A & P Showgrounds. $5 Admission, Under 3 FREE
A Hawkes Bay family tradition loved by young and old! The A & P Showgrounds will be lit up in a spectacle of sparkling light displays as well as stage entertainment each night featuring local acts. On New Years Eve gates will open at 8.30pm and there will be a giant slide, obstacle course, hot food and drinks and a fireworks display at 9.45pm – great for families with young kids.
Napier Night Fiesta. Second Friday Of Every Month, Napier Soundshell. 5pm – 8pm, FREE Admission, All Ages
Make the most of Hawkes Bay’s balmy summer weather at the monthly Napier Night Fiesta. Enjoy the live music, delectable food and fine Hawkes Bay wine while you over-look the stunning sea views from the Soundshell on Marine Parade.
Open Air Cinema. Black Barn Vineyards, 27th December 2015 . 7.30pm – 11pm, All Ages, Tickets from $10
A festival of film under the stars! The Black Barn Open Air Cinema is the perfect setting for a summer movie session, featuring some of New Zealand’s best movies. The outdoor amphitheatre has great acoustics, the best technology installs and offers outstanding sunset views over the Hawkes Bay plains. Movie-goers are able to relax on grassed terraces, sipping some of the Bay’s finest wine and enjoy nibbling on the delicious food provided by the onsite caterers. The movie line up is still yet to be announced, but will be updated on the Black Barn website in mid November.
The Bridge Pa Wine Festival. Bridge Pa Triangle Wine District, Saturday 23rd January. 10.00am – 6.00pm, R18, Tickets from $20
Hawkes Bay is the wine capital of the country, and this year the second annual Bridge Pa Wine Festival is returning in January, hosted by the Bridge Pa Triangle Wine District of Hawkes Bay. All seven wineries will be connected by a Hop On/Hop Off bus system throughout the day, allowing patrons to visit multiple wineries and enjoy a range a wine experiences. Each winery will showcase it’s unique brand and will offer a range of activities including wine tasting, food, music and masterclasses.
