The company, established in 1944, is run in two parts. The Hawke’s Bay Division produces and packs honey for the local and export market, provides local pollination services and is the site of the Arataki Honey Visitors Centre.
Sustainability and Quality
The company’s commitment to sustainability and quality has been the driving force behind its success. Partnering with dedicated beekeepers, Arataki Honey ensures their bees roam freely in pristine environments, collecting nectar from native New Zealand plants. This approach not only results in exquisite honey flavours but also supports the preservation of the country’s unique biodiversity.
Diverse Range
One of the most remarkable aspects of Arataki Honey is its diverse range of honey varieties, each with its distinctive taste and texture. From the delicate and smooth Clover Honey to the robust and flavorful Rewarewa Honey, there’s a flavour to suit every palate. Whether you enjoy a drizzle of honey on your morning toast or prefer using it as a natural sweetener in your favourite recipes, Arataki Honey’s versatility is unparalleled.
